Meet LaTrina Davis

Meet LaTrina Davis, the heart behind Trinas Umbrella and a familiar face in neighborhoods across San Diego County. She is an American Red Cross Licensed Training Provider, Registered Behavior Technician, and recipient of a Special Commendation recognizing more than 15 years of community service. Her lived experience with incarceration, addiction, domestic violence, and rebuilding life shapes every class, especially those supporting single fathers raising autistic children. LaTrina teaches with humor, dignity, and honesty so participants feel safe asking questions and leave with real confidence.

The Heart Behind Trinas

Trinas Umbrella is a San Diego based, Black owned, female owned education and community outreach business founded by American Red Cross Licensed Training Provider LaTrina Davis. Blending CPR training, overdose prevention, autism awareness, and real resource navigation, we use lived experience and certified instruction to make safety skills feel relatable, accessible, and empowering.

From Barstow To Today

Our story began with hygiene kits on Barstow streets and grew into life saving education for families, outreach teams, and single fathers raising autistic children. Every class, outreach event, and partnership reflects one belief, if you can help someone, you should, and every person deserves dignity, safety, and another chance.
